Yes and Yes
"If black people are telling us they are scared of police and to let their kids out of their sight, we need to LISTEN. Stop telling them why they're wrong, or that everyone is making this about race, etc. LISTEN. Open your eyes."
This quote was taken from a post written by Elizabeth of Delightfully Tacky regarding Ferguson . It states, more plainly than I ever could, how I feel about this subject. You can read the whole post here.
If we look back at history it shows us that bad usually has to blow up before any good can come. That is usually the story of change. Let us all hope that this death, if it had to be, is that tipping point. If we cannot all learn to look at each other with love in our eyes, no matter the faces we look upon, we are not contributing to the good of all but good's opposite. Only love can conquer fear and hate.
“Hate, it has caused a lot of problems in the world, but has not solved one yet.” - Maya Angelou

Your comments reflect who you are. If you see something in me that you do not like, it’s your own shadow that you refuse to see. Work on that instead of working on me. Okay. If you’re nice then thank the rainbows and puppies out of you.
